Biography

Built-in on Sept. 23, 1980 in Raleigh, NC, Aubrey Dollar developed her taste for performing through her mom, Terri, an actress who took Aubrey and sister Caroline along on auditions. Growing up, Dollar performed with the Raleigh Lilliputian Theatre and the Broughton High School bear witness choir. She made her characteristic film debut with a pocket-size part in "Heavyweights" (1995), a Disney movie shot in her native N Carolina about a fat kid who rebels subsequently existence sent to fatty campsite. Dollar made a memorable impression equally the anxiety-ridden Marcy Bough on a few episodes of "Dawson'south Creek" (Fob, 1997-2003), so landed guest spots on the short-lived road trip drama "Going to California" (Kickoff, 2001-02) and the equally brief Richard Dreyfuss sitcom "The Educational activity of Max Bickford" (CBS, 2001-02). After more small roles in "Amy and Isabelle" (ABC, 2000-01) and "Trapped: Buried Alive" (Pax Boob tube, 2002), she finally secured her share of the spotlight with a regular role on "Bespeak Pleasant" (Fox, 2004-05), a supernatural drama about a mysterious girl (Elisabeth Harnois) who washes onto the beach of an upper-crust community and is reluctantly taken into the dwelling house of a local doctor, only to later reveal that she is the spawn of a mortal adult female and Satan. Dollar fabricated the jump to features, landing minor parts in "Prime" (2005) and "Failure to Launch" (2006), before returning to regular serial work with a leading office on "Women'south Murder Order" (ABC, 2007-08), a spunky drama most four professional women - a journalist (Dollar), detective (Angie Harmon), Assistant DA (Laura Harris) and medical examiner (Paula Newsome) - who join forces to chase downwards serial killers in San Francisco.
